Bill Heck is an expert specializing in developing and designing performance and compensation plans for Boards of Directors and Executive Leadership Teams.
He works with publicly and closely held companies in a variety of industries aligning performance with compensation for increased productivity. Bill is
also a Principal with Ted Willey & Associates' affiliate organization, the Board of Directors Development Group, serving as a senior advisor to
executive and board leadership.
As a senior consultant with Arthur Andersen, LLP and the Hay Group, Bill helped organizations retain top talent through aligning performance with compensation. He served as Chief People Officer with the Hospital Corporation of America and National Jewish Health as well as developing consulting practices with BKD LLP, CPA, and Clark Consulting, an international human capital consulting firm. He completed a successful tour with the US Air Force as a contributor to forming human capital management policies on staffs in the US Air Force Academy, the Pentagon and tactical fighter wings in South Vietnam and Korea.
Bill's graduate degree from the University of Colorado is in business and human resource administration. He is an independent director on the board of a private manufacturing firm. He is President of the Colorado chapter of the National Association for Corporate Directors and serves on two committees of the Association of Corporate Growth in Denver. Bill is a founding member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Human Resource People and Strategy and is a member of the American National Standards Institute Technical Group chartered by the International Organization of Standardization to develop human resource management standards globally.
